Compression Machine Operator at Ascentech Services Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Compression Machine Operator to operate and maintain tablet compression machines in a pharmaceutical production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up, running, and troubleshooting compression machines to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tablet compression machines according to production schedules
• Set up machines with correct tooling and parameters before each batch
• Perform routine checks to ensure tablets meet quality and weight specifications
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues promptly
• Maintain accurate production and machine maintenance records
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety policies
• Collaborate with quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance

Requirements

• OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• 3–4 years of experience operating tablet compression machines in a pharmaceutical company
• Strong understanding of machine calibration, tooling, and preventive maintenance
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and basic safety standards
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

Compensation & Details

• Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦200,000 Monthly
• Location: Lagos, Nigeria
• Required Experience: 3–4 Years
• Required Qualification: OND / HND
