Communications Officer at Estymol Oil Services

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Communications Officer to join Estymol Oil Services in Lagos, Nigeria. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate communications, brand consistency, media relations, and digital engagement to enhance organizational visibility and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen corporate communication and brand consistency by developing, implementing, and maintaining communication systems, policies, templates, and brand guidelines across all internal, external, and digital platforms
• Plan and execute media campaigns, manage media buying and monitoring, and produce high-quality marketing content
• Lead social media strategy including content creation, posting, and audience engagement to enhance brand visibility
• Coordinate corporate events, marketing activations, and digital campaigns
• Support change management initiatives through clear, targeted communication that improves stakeholder understanding and buy-in
• Conduct daily media monitoring and social listening to track brand conversations
• Analyze digital metrics including social media insights and Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and guide data-driven communication decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences, administration, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate/external affairs, social media management, and/or advertising within a reputable and structured business environment
• Strong knowledge of newsletter conceptualization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
