About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Case Worker to join our team at REBHI. In this role, you will provide comprehensive case management services to vulnerable persons and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Lagos and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain an up-to-date service map for referrals of vulnerable persons within the facility and catchment area
- Identify, assess, document, and refer at-risk vulnerable persons to relevant services, with appropriate follow-up
- Manage cases in accordance with REBHI's Case Management Standard Operating Procedures within acceptable timeframes
- Conduct field visits to GBV victims receiving case management services
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards
- Ensure case management information is handled according to REBHI-approved procedures, including proper use and protection of case management forms, registers, and databases
- Facilitate, collect, and report information regarding protection risks in REBHI's operational areas
- Support preparation of procurement and administrative documents required for case management implementation
- Prepare and submit monitoring reports and updates to your line manager
- Participate in case conferences for the management of complex cases
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ensure all actions prioritize the safety and well-being of GBV victims
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Social Sciences, Social Work, or Community Development
- Minimum 1 year of sectoral experience in GBV protection in a similar position
- Demonstrated experience working and communicating with GBV victims
- Excellent technical understanding of protection and community-based approaches
- Strong understanding of case management processes, including the Family Tracing and Reunification (FTR) process
