About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Builder.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction process on-site to ensure that projects meet deadlines in line with approved budgets
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain the best possible price
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors activities to ensure optimal and quality delivery
• Track daily labour and material usage and prepare progress reports
• Identify potential defects in drawings/designs from planning phase to execution on site
• Liaise with architects and engineers in the project team to ensure that designs meet regulations
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and timely progress
• Identify potential delays, risks, or issues and escalate them proactively to management
• Prepare and submit weekly site progress reports
• Receive instructions and report directly to the Project Manager
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Chairman and Managing Director

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in building construction or site supervision
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and budgeting
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and construction management tools
