Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in web development. The role is based in Lekki/Ajah, with proximity to this location being essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate code to ensure proper structure and compatibility with browsers and operating devices
• Determine the structure and design of web pages
• Develop features to enhance user experience
• Create designs using Canva or other design software
• Ensure web design is optimized for smartphones
• Build reusable code for future use
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery
• Identify and correct problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related qualification from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Web Development or Programming
• Proven software development experience in PHP
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and Laravel
• Good design knowledge with Canva or similar design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Proficiency in Networking Applications and web-based applications

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to influence all levels of the organization
• Experience in multicultural and international environments

Advantageous Qualifications

• Microsoft or Cisco Certification
