Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate code to ensure proper structure and compatibility with browsers and operating devices
Determine the structure and design of web pages
Develop features to enhance user experience
Create designs using Canva or other design software
Ensure web design is optimized for smartphones
Build reusable code for future use
Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages
Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery
Identify and correct problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing

Required Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science or related qualification from a reputable institution
Minimum of 3 years experience in Web Development or Programming
Proven software development experience in PHP
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and Laravel
Good design knowledge with Canva or similar design software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Proficiency in Networking Applications and web-based applications

Required Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence all levels of the organization
Experience in multicultural and international environments

Advantageous Qualifications

Microsoft or Cisco Certification
