We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Position Overview:
  • Waiters and waitresses in a hotel are responsible for serving food and drinks to guests while delivering excellent customer service.
  • They are the direct link between the kitchen and the guest, and their service greatly affects the guest’s experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests warmly and present menus
  • Take food and drink orders accurately
  • Answer questions about menu items
  • Make recommendations when needed
  • Write or input orders correctly into the system
  • Communicate special requests (no pepper, allergies, etc.) to the kitchen
  • Ensure orders are served correctly and on time
  • Serve food and drinks professionally
  • Check that meals are properly presented before serving
  • Serve in the correct order (drinks, starters, main course, dessert)
  • Refill drinks and attend to guests during the meal
  • Prepare and present bills to guests
  • Handle cash, POS, or card payments
  • Return correct balance and receipts
  • Follow proper cashier procedures
  • Clear tables after guests finish
  • Keep the dining area clean and organized
  • Reset tables for the next guests
  • Check on guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle minor complaints politely and quickly
  • Report serious issues to supervisors
  • Thank guests and invite them to return
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and supervisors
  • Assist fellow waiters during busy periods
  • Support banquet or event services when required
Skills: Required:
  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly and polite attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good memory and attention to detail
  • Neat appearance and personal hygiene
  • Basic math skills for billing.
