Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive virtual medical scribe who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and supporting a growing, education-focused team.

Work Schedule

8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts before each appointment so every visit starts informed and organized
• Join live (in-person or telemedicine) visits to transcribe accurate, thorough medical notes in real time
• Track completion of provider notes, ensuring timely and compliant documentation
• Update test results and patient records promptly and accurately
• Partner with virtual assistants and clinical staff to streamline communication and keep the workflow smooth
• Complete administrative tasks that keep the practice running efficiently

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience as a medical scribe or medical training (preferred)
• Ability to communicate clearly, write accurately, and maintain meticulous organization of details
• Tech-savvy with familiarity of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and work independently
• Commitment to patient privacy with a secure, reliable remote workspace
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and support a team effectively
• Understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows
• Proactive ability to track outstanding tasks and follow-ups
