Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Videographer and Video Editor to join our dynamic team. You will capture professional videos and create compelling visual stories from footage, delivering high-quality content for various media formats and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional video content of private and public company moments, including footage for news, advertisements, articles, magazines, and books
• Meet with clients to outline project details, including timelines, budgets, and video subjects
• Determine and source necessary equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and appropriate technical settings (ISO, F-stop, etc.)
• Plan and execute pre-production work, including script drafting and review, shot lists, and storyboarding
• Determine optimal filters, camera angles, and framing techniques for each project
• Organize and manage footage using databases and project management systems, particularly for multi-camera shoots
• Edit and sequence video clips to create coherent, compelling narratives
• Integrate music, graphics, effects, dialogue, and other audio-visual elements into final productions
• Edit long-form raw footage and deliver polished final products

Requirements

• BSc or HND qualification
• Excellent knowledge of cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment for various applications
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CorelDRAW
• Advanced proficiency with video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), Cinema 4D, Filmora, Final Cut Pro, and iMovie
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D design, and animation techniques
• Strong ability to edit extended raw footage and sequence clips professionally
• Must reside in Lagos and be available to travel at short notice
