About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Telecommunications Engineer to provide technical support to Business Development and Maintenance Services, as well as oversee installation and project management activities.

Required Qualifications

• B.Eng., B.Sc., M.Eng., or HND in a relevant field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in ICT/Telecommunications Engineering and Services
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project/Contract Management

Required Certifications

Certification in one or more of the following:

• CCNP, CCNA R&S
• MNSE, MNIEEE, COREN
• ACSR Contact Center Solutions, ACSR Education, ACSR Go Midmarket, ACSR Healthcare, ACSR Hospitality, ACSR LAN SMB
• ACSR OmniPCX Enterprise, ACSR Open Touch Suite for SMB, ACSR Open Touch, ACSR Solution Premier Service
• ACSR WiFi SMB, ACSR Transportation, ACSR Open Touch Enterprise Cloud for SME
• D-link Certified Cabling Expert (DCCE)
• Motorola or related product training/certification
• Microwave product certifications
• CCTV systems, PAGA, ACS, or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support – Business Development & Maintenance Services

• Assist with technical inputs on quotations for in-house engineering works
• Develop detailed understanding of contract documents, including drawings, specifications, phasing, plans, construction sequencing, and project schedules
• Prepare documentation and SLA agreements for customers
• Perform engineering field surveys
• Respond to requests for Points of Contact (POCs), design consultations, and client meetings to support business success

Installation & Project Management

• Prepare project/contract bills of materials and cost estimates
• Supervise contract and project implementation and processes
• Monitor project implementation to achieve desired design goals
• Facilitate problem-solving between subcontractors during construction
• Carry out installation of telecommunications systems and allied products
• Assist in receipt and review of all submittals
• Log and post all changes and as-built information on field drawings
• Assist in scope review, budgeting, and justification of change work orders
• Assist in the installation of in-house equipment and systems
