Technical Officer (Advertising / Outdoor Media)

About the Role

A reputable organization is seeking a dedicated Technical Officer to manage the installation, maintenance, and technical support of outdoor advertising structures and digital media displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, mount, and dismantle outdoor advertising structures, including billboards, signage, lightboxes, and digital displays
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on advertising structures and installations
• Handle basic electrical works for illuminated and digital outdoor media
• Conduct site inspections and assess technical requirements prior to installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults promptly to minimize downtime
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards
• Work closely with operations, creative, and project teams to deliver campaigns on schedule
• Maintain tools, equipment, and technical materials in good working condition
• Provide technical support during campaigns, activations, and special projects
• Prepare job completion reports and escalate technical issues when necessary

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / Technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
• Proven experience in a technical role within an advertising or outdoor media company (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
• Physically fit and safety-conscious
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and meet deadlines
