An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview:
  • We require the services of a manager to fill existing vacancies within the Tax service line (TSL) of our firm. The candidates must have a clear understanding of tax laws, appreciable knowledge and hands-on experience covering all areas of taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proving tax advisory and compliance services to clients on all tax returns.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize company tax positions.
  • Overseeing and supervision of tax team on preparation of computations, returns, related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nigerian tax laws and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Associates and Associates, providing coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals, participating in client presentations, and identifying new service opportunities.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of internal training sessions and knowledgesharing forums.
Required Qualifications: & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in tax, 3 of which must be in a managerial position.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage information flow and dissemination on a need-to-know basis.
  • Associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 5 credits in O’levels, English, and Mathematics inclusive
