Tax Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview: - We require the services of a manager to fill existing vacancies within the Tax service line (TSL) of our firm. The candidates must have a clear understanding of tax laws, appreciable knowledge and hands-on experience covering all areas of taxation. Key Responsibilities: - Proving tax advisory and compliance services to clients on all tax returns. - Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize company tax positions. - Overseeing and supervision of tax team on preparation of computations, returns, related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nigerian tax laws and adherence to quality standards. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Associates and Associates, providing coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training. - Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals, participating in client presentations, and identifying new service opportunities. - Participate in the development and delivery of internal training sessions and knowledgesharing forums. Required Qualifications: & Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years' experience in tax, 3 of which must be in a managerial position. - Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is mandatory. - Ability to manage information flow and dissemination on a need-to-know basis. - Associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). - Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Minimum of 5 credits in O’levels, English, and Mathematics inclusive
