Social Media Manager / Digital Marketer

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and feedback across all social media platforms and information channels
• Create high-quality, engaging, and interactive content for social media and online community platforms daily
• Utilize community insights and social media analytics to understand behaviors, preferences, and trends, optimizing strategies for maximum engagement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all community members, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and feedback
• Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain members, including organizing meetups, webinars, and community events
• Monitor and analyze member engagement metrics to identify improvement areas and develop targeted initiatives to increase engagement
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies
• Work with the operations team to identify and address member needs, including troubleshooting technical issues and responding to customer service inquiries
• Analyze and prepare reports on social media insights, feedback, and performance data
• Organize and plan outreach events and community gatherings
• Optimize website content to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to enhance SEO efforts
• Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to monitor campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or community management
• Completion of NYSC (National Youth Service Corps)
• Must reside within Gbagada and its environs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Ads and Facebook
