We are seeking a creative, responsible, and highly organized Social Media and Digital Communications Manager to manage and grow the school's digital presence in a professional and child-safe manner.
Position Overview
Reports to: Executive Director / Head of Strategy
Works closely with: IT, Design, Admissions, HR, Academics, Media/PR, External Vendors

Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management
You will have end-to-end ownership of planning, creating, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring content across all Stella Maris social platforms.
Platforms to manage:
- Instagram (Main School Account)
- Instagram (Campus-specific pages, where applicable)
- Facebook (School & Campus pages)
- X (Twitter)
- LinkedIn (Corporate / Professional presence)
- YouTube (Shorts and long-form school content)
- TikTok (if approved by management)
- WhatsApp Broadcast / Community (content input, not admin)
Specific duties include:
- Develop monthly content calendars (submitted ahead of time, not reactive)
- Execute daily and weekly posting based on approved schedules
- Create captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action aligned with brand voice
- Develop parent-facing content (events, reminders, achievements)
- Create student-focused but school-approved storytelling
- Monitor comments, messages, and escalate issues where needed
- Ensure all platforms remain active and current with no outdated posts
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Creative Direction
While you are not a graphic designer, you own the creative output. This includes:
- Conceptualize content ideas, campaigns, series, and themes
- Write strong, engaging copy and captions
- Work collaboratively with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers
- Review and approve all creatives before posting
- Ensure all visuals align with school standards and brand guidelines
