A dynamic team is expanding and seeking the right talent. The Senior Avsec Coordinator supports the airline in protecting, monitoring, and enhancing security across all aviation operations. This role combines security management with policy implementation and operational oversight to ensure safe, secure flight operations while maintaining compliance with all mandatory and recommended procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Security Officer with the initiation and development of all policies relating to the Avsec Department
• Ensure flight operations are safe and secure whilst complying with mandatory and recommended operating procedures
• Monitor compliance with all aspects of Avsec manuals across all phases of daily activities
• Perform and monitor standards of security efficiency, safety, and training
• Implement aviation preventive security measures
• Coordinate and implement site and operations security plans to ensure protection of executives, managers, employees, physical and information assets
• Optimize use of security personnel and equipment
• Carry out personnel clearances and special access requests
• Develop, implement, and manage background checks on potential employees, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
• Initiate or support investigations of potential or actual security violations or breaches
• Coordinate and schedule deployment of quality control security teams to ensure maximum coverage of all approved scheduled programmes
• Meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
• Conduct yearly security audits of company assets and infrastructure
• Conduct residential threat and risk assessments for company residences
• Conduct pre-employment and yearly staff background checks
