A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. Position Overview:
  • Our client, a fast-growing FMCG company in Abuja, is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive product distribution, increase market penetration, and achieve sales targets within assigned territories.
  • The role involves managing distributor and retail relationships, executing sales plans, and expanding the company’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development:
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in volume and value within designated territories.
  • Develop and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
  • Execute sales strategies to grow market share and revenue.
Route-to-Market & Distribution:
  • Ensure effective product availability and visibility across retail outlets.
  • Manage route planning and regular market visits.
  • Monitor stock levels at distributor and retail points to prevent stock-outs.
  • Support distributor sales teams to improve coverage and performance.
Trade Execution & Merchandising
  • Ensure proper product display, merchandising, and brand visibility in outlets.
  • Implement trade promotions and marketing campaigns as directed
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and market reports.
  • Track customer feedback, sales performance, and payment follow-ups where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Number of active outlets and market coverage.
  • Sales volume and revenue vs target.
  • Distributor performance and order fulfillment rate.
  • Product availability and stock-out rate.
  • New customer acquisition.
  • Trade promotion execution effectiveness.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports.
  • Market intelligence and competitor activity reports.
Required Qualifications: & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • 2- 3 years of Sales experience (Preferably FMCG).
  • Experience managing distributors and retail channels.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
