  • We are seeking a highly motivated, high-performing Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive growth, secure projects, and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying Opportunities: Identify and pursue new opportunities for the company by building strong relationships with decision-makers.
  • Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering teams to design tailored solutions that meet clients’ needs.
  • Translating Technical Value: Translate technical features into clear business benefits such as cost savings, ROI, efficiency gains, and sustainability.
  • Proposal & Presentation: Prepare and deliver technical proposals, and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitors’ activities, and customer challenges to keep company’s offerings competitive.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Support long-term growth of the company by exploring new markets, forming alliances, and expanding service lines.
  • Revenue Generation: Negotiate contracts, close deals, and contribute directly to the company’s financial health.
  • Customer Support: Ensure post-sales technical support by the engineering team and client satisfaction with the delivered solutions.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote company visibility.
  • Research and Build Relationships: Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the clients’ organisations.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within similar industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and explain them in business terms.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently, with or without supervision and working as a team member.
  • High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales territory.
  • Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts.
