Reconciliations Officer at Blowfish Hotel

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Reconciliations Officer to join the Blowfish Hotel team in Lagos. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and timely reconciliation of all banking and transaction activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank transfers with the company's books using Tally accounting software
• Reconcile Blowfish Group point of sales (POS) transactions
• Prepare monthly bank ledger reconciliations
• Identify and report any irregularities and variances discovered during reconciliation processes
• Recommend corrections for variances to ensure timely resolution
• Create journal entries to correct issues identified during previous months' reconciliations
• Reconcile Blowfish Group bank statements
• Authorize room rent payment receipts

Required Education & Experience

• HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience
