About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Projects Officer. You will effectively support the management of the organisation's projects in Ekiti State, serving as a key liaison between the organisation, project beneficiaries, government representatives, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management and organisation of the organisation's projects and activities in Ekiti State
• Monitor projects to ensure deliverables and targets are met within established timelines
• Act as liaison between the organisation, project beneficiaries, government representatives, and community stakeholders
• Undertake periodic visits to project sites within the state
• Supervise projects in progress and clarify issues to prevent confusion and interruption during execution
• Carry out basic project monitoring activities and evaluate project conditions
• Provide support and advice on effective engagement with government parastatals and project beneficiaries
• Lead presentations and activities around educational policies, reproductive health, and rights with project beneficiaries
• Make useful suggestions on best practices and strategies for project execution
• Submit timely reports and required documentation
• Participate in programme strategy design, development, and execution aligned with the organisation's thematic focuses

Required Qualifications

• HND/BSc qualification
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Basic experience in non-profit programming

Preferred Qualifications

• First degree or higher qualification
• Field experience in Public Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Agricultural Extension
• Project management and leadership experience
• Proficiency in basic computer use
