Production Manager - Furniture at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Responsibilities

• Develop detailed furniture and fittings production plans, coordinate production processes, and supervise resources to deliver on pre-agreed terms, timeframes, budget, quality, and scope
• Manage the production facility and ensure the production process runs smoothly, safely, and meets production budget and goals
• Oversee furniture production to ensure all orders are executed according to client requirements
• Prepare cutting lists from drawings and designs provided by the design architect
• Work with Quality Control to establish and execute quality control processes
• Operate CNC machines and related programs
• Oversee all production processes including cutting to measurements, edge taping, board planning, designing, finishing, and production scheduling
• Set targets and supervise carpenters, floor hands, machinists, and quality assistants
• Ensure cost-effective production operations
• Estimate costs and establish quality standards
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes
• Collaborate with management to implement company policies and goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Wood Technology
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant work experience in high-end furniture manufacturing
• Mandatory experience working in a furniture factory
• Proficiency with production machines and hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Furniture Production
