## Title: Procurement Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our established company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's procurement operations while working in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create strategies for long-term supply purchases that align with company objectives
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Review and analyze all vendors, suppliers, supply options, and pricing
  • Develop comprehensive plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing for supply contracts
  • Ensure all products and supplies meet high quality standards
  • Maintain and update a current list of suppliers, including qualifications, delivery times, and potential for future development
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Make professional decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete duties as needed
  • Carry out additional responsibilities and assignments as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Procurement Manager
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Navision
  • Strong ability to analyze problems and strategize effective solutions
  • Proven ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong integrity with ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
  • Goal-oriented and organized team player
