## Title: Procurement Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our established company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's procurement operations while working in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create strategies for long-term supply purchases that align with company objectives
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Review and analyze all vendors, suppliers, supply options, and pricing
- Develop comprehensive plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing for supply contracts
- Ensure all products and supplies meet high quality standards
- Maintain and update a current list of suppliers, including qualifications, delivery times, and potential for future development
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Make professional decisions in a dynamic environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete duties as needed
- Carry out additional responsibilities and assignments as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Procurement Manager
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Navision
- Strong ability to analyze problems and strategize effective solutions
- Proven ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong integrity with ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Accurate attention to detail
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
- Goal-oriented and organized team player
