An established company is recruiting for the following position. Job Purpose
  • To ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation that meets customer demand while optimizing factory operations, minimizing downtime, and reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available on time.
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate machine breakdowns, urgent orders, or supply chain disruptions.
Capacity & Resource Management:
  • Monitor factory capacity and workforce availability to balance workloads.
  • Optimize use of machinery, labor, and materials to achieve production targets.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
Data & Reporting:
  • Track production progress against schedules and KPIs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on output, delays, and resource utilization.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to update and manage planning data.
Coordination & Communication:
  • Liaise with production supervisors, quality assurance, logistics, and procurement teams.
  • Communicate changes in schedules to relevant departments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
Typical Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Skills: & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
