## Title: OSP Fiber Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OSP Fiber Manager to lead the implementation of our customer FTTH fiber optic deployment in Ibadan, Nigeria. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire outside plant (OSP) infrastructure rollout, including planning, fiber pulling, ducting, splicing, and quality control.

The role demands leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and strong coordination with local teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met with high quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and execution of OSP deployment (civil works, ducting, cable laying, splicing)
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to customer's technical standards and deadlines
  • Coordinate closely with design, NOC, and QA teams for smooth end-to-end deployment
  • Track project KPIs (progress, costs, material usage) and report to management
  • Manage materials, logistics, permits, and ensure resource availability on site
  • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance during execution
  • Oversee documentation: redline drawings, test reports, OTDR results, and handover files
  • Resolve field-level issues and escalate critical risks proactively
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance tracking of field teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing large-scale OSP/FTTH projects, preferably in Nigeria
  • Strong technical knowledge of GPON, FTTH, fiber pulling, ducting, and splicing standards
  • Proven ability to manage field teams and subcontractors under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with Nigerian right-of-way regulations and local permitting processes
  • Proficient in project tracking tools (Excel, MS Project, or equivalents)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be based in Ibadan, Nigeria
