Microwave Radio Engineer at Banodex Group

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Microwave Radio Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of microwave radio links to ensure efficient network performance and reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design microwave radio links for transmission networks
• Carry out installation, configuration, alignment, and integration of microwave equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on radio transmission systems
• Conduct line-of-sight (LOS) and site surveys
• Troubleshoot and resolve transmission issues to minimize downtime
• Liaise with vendors and other engineering teams for network upgrades and optimization
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety requirements
• Prepare detailed reports on site activities, performance, and project status

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in microwave radio transmission
• Proficiency with radio planning tools (e.g., Pathloss, Mentum, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of IP and TDM transmission principles
• Experience working with microwave equipment (e.g., Huawei, Ericsson, Ceragon, NEC, Ubiquiti, or similar)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in transmission or related telecom fields
• Experience with fiber transmission and network integration
