About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Legal & Compliance Officer to join our team at a leading insurance company in Lagos.

Requirements

• First degree or equivalent qualification in Law or related field
• Membership of Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA)
• NAICOM License Certification
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria (CIIN)
• 2–4 years' experience in a Legal and Compliance role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
• Strong understanding of NAICOM guidelines, insurance regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards
• High ethical standards and integrity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
