An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our laboratory team in a key scientific role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests including blood counts, urinalysis, culture tests, and chemical analysis
• Prepare and analyze biological samples to support accurate patient diagnosis
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy
• Document and communicate test results clearly to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety procedures and infection control standards
• Maintain up-to-date records of laboratory investigations and patient reports
• Participate in quality control programs and support continuous process improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory setting
• Valid practicing license and registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in carrying out hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and immunology tests
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, quality assurance, and diagnostic protocols
• Good computer literacy for handling lab equipment software and report generation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in test result interpretation
