## Title: Laboratory Scientist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our laboratory team in a key scientific role.

Conduct diagnostic tests including blood counts, urinalysis, culture tests, and chemical analysis
Prepare and analyze biological samples to support accurate patient diagnosis
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy
Document and communicate test results clearly to physicians and other healthcare professionals
Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety procedures and infection control standards
Maintain up-to-date records of laboratory investigations and patient reports
Participate in quality control programs and support continuous process improvement

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory setting
Valid practicing license and registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)

Proficiency in carrying out hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and immunology tests
Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, quality assurance, and diagnostic protocols
Good computer literacy for handling lab equipment software and report generation
Attention to detail and accuracy in test result interpretation
