Laboratory Assistants - Linkup Human Capital, Lagos

We are seeking competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Quality Control Laboratory team for ongoing road and building construction projects. Successful candidates will support laboratory and field-testing activities in compliance with international standards. Position Overview: The Laboratory Assistant will support laboratory operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and assisting technicians during laboratory and field-testing activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Sample preparation (drying, crushing, splitting, and labeling).

• Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment (sieves, molds, ovens, balances).

• Casting and proper demoulding of concrete cubes.

• Assist technicians during heavy field testing activities.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.

• Support inventory management of materials and consumables.

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures at all times.

Requirements: – Laboratory Assistant

• Minimum of SSCE/OND in Engineering or related discipline.

• 1–3 years’ experience in a construction laboratory (preferred).

• Physically fit for field assignments.

• Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices.

• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
