Laboratory Assistants

We are seeking competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Quality Control Laboratory team for ongoing road and building construction projects. Successful candidates will support laboratory and field-testing activities in compliance with international standards. Position Overview: The Laboratory Assistant will support laboratory operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and assisting technicians during laboratory and field-testing activities. Key Responsibilities: - Sample preparation (drying, crushing, splitting, and labeling). - Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment (sieves, molds, ovens, balances). - Casting and proper demoulding of concrete cubes. - Assist technicians during heavy field testing activities. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory. - Support inventory management of materials and consumables. - Ensure adherence to safety procedures at all times. Requirements: – Laboratory Assistant - Minimum of SSCE/OND in Engineering or related discipline. - 1–3 years’ experience in a construction laboratory (preferred). - Physically fit for field assignments. - Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices. - Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
