An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Steward to act as the backbone of our culinary operations.

This role is vital to ensuring our chefs have the tools they need and our guests dine on spotless service ware.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial dishwashing machinery, ensuring correct chemical dilutions and temperatures are maintained.

Wash cookware, delicate glassware, and specialized culinary tools (mandolines, blenders, etc.) according to safety standards.

Sort and stack cleaned items systematically to prevent breakage and ensure quick access for the line team.

Execute a rigorous cleaning schedule for floors, walls, and ceiling vents to meet health department regulations.

Empty, sanitize, and reline waste bins; manage the separation of recycling, compost, and general waste.

Assist with the unloading of delivery trucks and the organized rotation of stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

Perform basic food preparation tasks during peak periods, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients, under the guidance of the Sous Chef.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess an NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualifications with 1 - 3 years work experience.
