Junior Accountant - DET Consulting Limited, Lagos

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Location: Atan, Ogun State Reports To: Head of Accountant Accommodation: Available Position Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support the accounting department.

• The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts

• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

• Assist in inventory accounting and cost tracking

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

• Provide administrative support to the Head of Accountant

Requirements:

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and other related tools) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• High level of integrity with keen attention to detail

• Good communication and organizational skills
