Junior Accountant

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Location: Atan, Ogun State Reports To: Head of Accountant Accommodation: Available Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support the accounting department. - The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing financial statements and reports - Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate record-keeping - Reconcile bank statements and company accounts - Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions - Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities - Assist in inventory accounting and cost tracking - Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations - Provide administrative support to the Head of Accountant Requirements: - B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and other related tools) and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and numerical skills - High level of integrity with keen attention to detail - Good communication and organizational skills
