Salary: NGN 300,000 – NGN 400,000 (Gross) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies on construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote a safe working environment, and minimize workplace risks. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies and procedures

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

• Monitor and report on safety performance and incidents

• Organize safety training and toolbox meetings for site workers

• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Maintain HSE documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry as an HSE Officer

• Relevant certification in Health, Safety & Environment (NEBOSH or equivalent is an advantage)

• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures

• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
