A reputable construction company operating in Akure, Ondo State, is seeking an experienced and result-driven HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day HR operations and help ensure smooth and efficient HR processes. Location: Akure-Benin Expressway, Ondo State Key Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding and induction of new employees, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files in line with data protection requirements
  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate employee information and changes
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and training records
  • Help coordinate employee training and development activities
  • Respond to employee HR queries and provide basic guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes
  • Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation as instructed by the HR Manager
  • Support general HR administrative duties and ad hoc projects
  • Carry out any other duty assigned within

 Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A degree or HND in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an HR or administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Preferably Female Applicants
