About the Role
Brila Media, a leading sports media organization, is seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Digital to lead our digital strategy and expand our online presence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on digital expertise within a fast-paced sports media environment. The ideal candidate is sports-savvy, data-driven, and forward-thinking, with the ability to translate digital trends into impactful audience engagement and measurable growth across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Brila Media's digital strategy to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility
- Lead, mentor, and manage the digital team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee all digital platforms, including content distribution, digital marketing campaigns, social media channels, and online initiatives
- Monitor, analyze, and report on digital performance metrics, using insights to optimize strategies and improve results
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver integrated digital campaigns
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and storytelling across all digital touchpoints
- Stay up to date with emerging digital trends, tools, technologies, and best practices within the sports media industry
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital management, digital marketing, media, or a related role
- Strong understanding of and passion for sports and sports media
- Proven hands-on experience with social media management, SEO, digital analytics, and online campaigns
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in Lekki, Lagos
