We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Position Overview:
  • They are seeking high-performing, strategically minded Business Development Managers - Growth managers to lead our liability mobilisation efforts with a focus on fixed deposit acquisition and report directly to the GM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute targeted strategies to acquire and retain fixed deposit clients across key segments (HNWIs, corporates, institutions).
  • Own end-to-end client relationships—from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and retention.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly mobilisation targets.
  • Track, analyse, and forecast pipeline performance using data-driven insights.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, interest rate trends, and regulatory shifts affecting deposit behaviour.
  • Partner with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to streamline client onboarding and enhance service delivery.
  • Represent employers professionally at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance in all client interactions.
Required Qualifications: & Requirements
  • HND / BSc / MSc / MBA in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification, such as CFA, ACCA, or CIBN Iis an added advantage
  • Mid-Level: 4–7 years in business development, sales, or relationship management within banking, microfinance, or financial services—with demonstrable success in deposit mobilisation or treasury product sales.
  • Executive-Level: 8-12+ years of progressive experience, including team leadership, portfolio management, or P&L responsibility in a financial institution.
  • Proven track record in generating liabilities (especially fixed deposits) with verifiable past performance.
  • Deep understanding of Nigeria’s financial regulations, money market instruments, etc.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Benefits: Compensation is uncapped and directly tied to mobilisation performance:
  • ₦500,000- ₦1,000,000 / month plus Performance bonus (negotiable based on scale, client quality, and strategic value)

  • Top performers may be considered for quarterly bonuses, equity-linked incentives, or accelerated career progression.
