A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Griller* to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and grilling high-quality meals in line with our hotel standards, ensuring consistency, taste, and excellent presentation while maintaining strict hygiene and safety practices.
- Prepare and grill meats, poultry, seafood, and other menu items according to standard recipes.
- Ensure proper seasoning, portion control, and presentation of grilled dishes.
- Monitor grilling temperatures to ensure food is cooked safely and to required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station at all times.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Inspect food supplies and report shortages or quality issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
- Assist with stock control and minimize food waste.
- Proven experience as a Griller or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
- Good knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and during peak service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food quality.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
