About the Role
Fort Knox Group is seeking a qualified Front Desk Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position is central to creating a welcoming and professionally managed reception experience for our visitors, clients, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable
- Manage visitor logs, issue access badges, and follow security protocols
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mails and deliveries
- Provide accurate information to clients and visitors about the organization
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer complaints or requests professionally and escalate when needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Second Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or similar role (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to handle pressure and work with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
