About the Role

We are seeking a qualified English Language Tutor to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering specialized English instruction to students across designated classes and contributing to their academic development through structured teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English language and specialized subjects to students in designated classes
• Attend all assigned classes regularly and punctually
• Conduct regular class tests, periodic assessments, practical exercises, and homework assignments
• Mark exercise books and maintain detailed records of student progress for continuous assessment purposes
• Endorse student notes and assessments
• Lead afternoon session classes for students at designated times according to the timetable

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc., B.Ed., HND, M.Sc., or M.Ed. in English, Mass Communication, or related fields from reputable institutions
• Minimum 2 years of cognate experience teaching specialized subjects
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an English tutor
