Content Operations Manager at DeFi Planet

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented professional to join our team as Content Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of editorial disciplines and be highly knowledgeable about the rapidly evolving crypto sector.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire content and editorial process for a global digital publication on Web3, including Blockchain Technology, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and the Crypto-economy.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial & Content Management

• Lead the editorial process: strategy, content review, editing, and approvals (news, analysis, long-form, newsletters, scripts)
• Manage writers and editorial associates; provide feedback to maintain quality standards
• Develop interview-based articles, social media long-forms, and other special content formats
• Support content marketing initiatives to grow reach and engagement

Product & UX Content

• Conduct UX/content research to support product development
• Manage glossary development and product-related editorial content

SEO & Content Operations

• Perform SEO research, keyword/topic validation, and oversee backlink campaigns
• Manage WordPress dashboard tasks: content indexing, uploads, and optimization
• Lead monthly content audits to refine positioning, rankings, and collections
• Maintain weekly content and deliverables trackers; ensure accurate publishing, attributions, and image requests

Research & Industry Awareness

• Track crypto/Web3 market trends, protocols, NFTs, DAOs, regulation, and CBDCs
• Provide insights that feed into editorial strategy and product innovation

Requirements

• Degree in English, Journalism, Media, Finance, Law, Computer Science, or related fields
• At least 2 years' experience in editorial/content management (digital publication preferred)
• Excellent English writing and editing skills; strong attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of the crypto/Web3 sector
