We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview:
  • The Content Creator is responsible for creating visually compelling, on-brand digital content that brings Mwanga’s story, products, and lifestyle to life across social media platforms.
  • This role focuses on ideation, filming, editing, and storytelling, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging content that drives brand awareness, community connection, and sales.
  • This is a hands-on creative role, ideal for someone who loves filming, editing, experimenting with trends, and producing high-quality content rather than managing strategy, ads, or heavy reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Storytelling (Core Focus):
  • Create high-quality visual content, including Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, product shots, and short-form videos.
  • Film and edit content using a mobilefor social platforms.
  • Develop storytelling content such as:
  • Product education and benefits
  • Behind-the-scenes moments
  • Lifestyle and brand aesthetic content
  • Customer testimonials and UGC-style videos
  • Write engaging captions aligned with the business brand voice and tone.
  • Maintain consistent visual identity, mood, and storytelling across platforms.
Trend & Platform Awareness:
  • Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, formats, sounds, and creator styles.
  • Adapt relevant trends to fit the business premium lifestyle and fragrance brand identity.
  • Suggest new content ideas, recurring series, and creative formats.
Content Planning & Execution:
  • Work with the Business Manager to plan weekly and monthly content themes.
  • Execute content for product launches, campaigns, promotions, and seasonal moments.
  • Ensure content is delivered on time and ready for posting or scheduling.
Community-Facing Content Support:
  • Create interactive content such as polls, Q&As, countdowns, and engagement stickers for Stories.
  • Support community engagement through content prompts (not direct community management unless requested).
  • Capture and repurpose user-generated content where appropriate.
Sales-Driven Content:
  • Produce content that clearly communicates product value, usage, and gifting ideas.
  • Create short-form videos and visuals with strong calls-to-action (Shop Now, DM Us, Visit Store, etc.).
  • Support flash sales, launches, and special campaigns with conversion-focused content.
Collaboration & Brand Support:
  • Collaborate with internal teams during shoots, events, pop-ups, and activations.
