Breeder Farm Supervisor at Resource Intermediaries Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Breeder Farm Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is a resident position at our farm facility located along Ijebu Ode road. The Farm Supervisor will report to the Farm Manager and be responsible for the overall care, biosecurity, and husbandry of the facilities and poultry operations.

You will ensure that all programs and procedures are followed according to company guidelines, maintaining high quality standards while running an efficient and cost-effective operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pen houses and birds proactively
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of poultry farm operations
• Develop and implement vaccination programs for birds and disease prevention measures
• Maintain stock inventory of feeds and coordinate activities of farm attendants while ensuring discipline
• Enforce strict biosecurity compliance across the farm
• Maintain daily records of feed consumption, bird mortality rates, and egg production, and submit reports to Management through the Liaison Officer
• Observe birds regularly and report any cases of disease or infection promptly
• Ensure standard best practices and strict hygienic activities are maintained, including monitoring and maintaining proper temperature, ventilation, and lighting conditions
• Direct and supervise attendants on feed quantities, pen house cleaning, and the general well-being of staff, birds, and equipment
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in poultry farming or farm management
