An established company is recruiting for the following position.
Position Overview:
- We are looking for a Baker to produce high-quality breads and pastries for our restaurant.
- The ideal candidate will follow recipes, ensure consistent product quality, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and work efficiently to meet daily production needs.
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Measure, mix, and knead ingredients accurately.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and consistency.
- Decorate pastries and bread as required.
- Ensure the bakery section is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and inform management of stock needs.
- Assist in training junior bakers or kitchen staff if needed.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules.
- Proven experience as a baker, preferably in both bread and pastry production.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
