## Title: Area Sales Manager - Lagos

Role Overview

Our client in the Agricultural sector seeks an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to unlock business opportunities within a designated coverage area. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales orders and exceeding sales targets while building a strong customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and increase market reach within the designated coverage area
  • Generate sales orders from both existing and new customers
  • Convert inquiries and prospects into confirmed sales
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and quality after-sales service
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Design and implement sales campaigns (with support from the marketing team) to drive client acquisition
  • Monitor competitor activities in the market and submit intelligent reports
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales reports to management
  • Provide weekly sales pipeline reports to management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Strong understanding of the feed mill industry and market
  • Good understanding of the designated terrain

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management abilities
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Compensation

N120,000 basic pay plus N280,000 float
