Job Summary
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Administrative Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support and ensure efficient office operations. This role is essential to maintaining smooth day-to-day functions across the organization and supporting various departments to enhance overall effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative activities and ensure smooth office operations
- Maintain and update company databases, records, and files
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments
- Prepare and organize correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails, calls, and messages)
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement processes
- Support HR with onboarding, documentation, and basic employee coordination
- Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and engagements
- Respond to staff and visitor inquiries professionally
- Ensure the office environment is clean, functional, and well-maintained
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external partners
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 4–6 years proven experience in an administrative role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Residence on the Island preferred for proximity purposes
