Accounting Intern - Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre, Lagos

Position Overview: LECC Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support the Finance Department in daily accounting and financial operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in healthcare finance, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance, while working under the supervision of experienced finance professional. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting entries, record keeping, and documentation

• Support preparation of payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts

• Help reconcile bank statements

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and 

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing report

• Assist with expense tracking

• Support audit preparations and provide required documentation

• Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures

• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: & Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

• Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage

• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and ability to work well in a team
