We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in FMCG and manufacturing operations to manage financial records, ensure cost control, and support accurate financial reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in factory or production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records for manufacturing and FMCG operations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Monitor production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements (VAT, WHT, PAYE).
  • Reconcile bank statements, inventory, and general ledger accounts.
  • Support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience in FMCG and/or manufacturing companies.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ICAN or ACCA certification (or in progress) is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a factory or production-based environment.
Salary N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
