Accountant (FMCG & Manufacturing)

Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in FMCG and manufacturing operations to manage financial records, ensure cost control, and support accurate financial reporting. - The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in factory or production environments. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records for manufacturing and FMCG operations. - Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. - Monitor production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS). - Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements (VAT, WHT, PAYE). - Reconcile bank statements, inventory, and general ledger accounts. - Support internal and external audits. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience in FMCG and/or manufacturing companies. - Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications: - ICAN or ACCA certification (or in progress) is an advantage. - Experience working in a factory or production-based environment. Salary N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
